Product description:
Katana sword with the popular Tonbo (dragonfly) motif. The dragonfly is depicted on many antique swords.

The Tonbo Katana by Toshiro Swords has a Shinogi Zukuri blade with Honsanmai construction with a hard edge and a softer core, which corresponds to the traditional construction of a sword blade. The blade is sharpened and has a hardness of 60 HRC on the cutting edge. The sword is designed for cutting exercises with tatami mats and bamboo.

The sword sheath is made of solid wood and has a traditional ring design. With the contrast to the beige grip band and the sageo (band on the scabbard), the sword makes a sublime impression, which goes very well with the dragonfly motif.

The handle is made of solid wood and the wide blade tang is countered in the handle by two mekugi, giving it very good stability. The handle is relatively wide and also suitable for large hands.
