The Yūga Katana with spring steel blade C65 is a high-quality katana, particularly suitable for training and cutting exercises. The blade is ground very sharp. Good price-performance ratio in valuable quality.
Sugata (blade shape):
Hand forged without bohi (groove) on both sides and with chu-kissaki (tip). Hardened spring steel made from C65 material. The hardness of the back (mune) and the ha (edge) is approx. 55° HRC Rockwell. Blood groove on both sides

Mekugi: Bamboo, according to the traditional way, the two Mekugi-ana are drilled through the fishing rod at an angle to each other. The holes are tapered and the mekugi are not inserted from the same side.

Carbon steel hand-polished, painted black. Simple, elegant design.
Saya (vagina):
Made of wood, refinished by hand and covered with black lacquered and optical structure. The curvature is adapted to the blade. The kurikata eyelet has two shitodomes, the koi-guchi is made of horn.
