The Aoi Domoe Katana has an outstanding appearance with a blue scabbard and a blue grip tape on black same.
During production, special attention is paid to the quality and usability of the swords. High-quality, traditional materials are used, such as the solid wood for the sword hilt, real ray skin or the reinforcements made of horn on the sword scabbard.
Together with the blade made of modern 9260 spring steel, this sword combines tradition with modernity.

The heart of the sword is the blade made of spring steel. This steel reaches a considerable hardness. The blade is extremely sharp and shows a strong performance in cutting tests. The 9260 high-performance steel also forgives a mistake without breaking immediately.
The blade is made in the traditional Shinogi Zukuri style, with a Maru Kitae construction. The 9260 steel is completely hardened with a hardness of approx. 58 HRC. The blade is light and can therefore be used extremely well.
