Blade:
X30Cr13, hardened and tempered to a hardness of approximately 48-55 HRC.
Hand ground and polished to Rockwell. Gracefully curved. Blade is flexible. One hollow
groove on each side. Dimensions: approx. 820 x 25 x 6 mm.
The blade is fitted with a 2mm thick black leather scabbard to protect the sheath.
To prevent striking the garda.
Protection:
Mounted, ground and polished by hand.
The Lithuanian coat of arms Vitis is depicted on the point.
Finish: Nickel plated, min. 15 microns
Additional: Protection: 24K gold plating, min. 0.1 micron thickness
1 micron thick, plus protective clear lacquer.
Handle:
Durable ABS plastic, black, hand-polished, hand-wrapped with three coils and
10 grooves of silver plated brass wire. Wire size is 0.4 mm x 2.
Bracelet:
Handmade, brushed and polished: bent seamless steel tube 26 x 1 mm.
With 2 silver soldered bands, on which are attached 2 stainless steel rings 4 mm thick,
for attaching the sword to the belt.
