Part of the three-part Daimyo series. Each sword in the series is dedicated to a prince of Japanese history.
This sword shows T. Shingen: he ruled over Shinano and Kai. born in 1521, Shingen was one of Japan's most legendary warlords. In battle, he wore magnificent, golden decorated armor. Countless myths, legends, and stories are about T. Shingen. For example, the story is well known that Shingen did not even rise to fight during an attack from his neighboring state, even when an opponent invaded his palace. When he was attacked with a sword, he parried the blow with a fan and ultimately won the battle!
Blade:
High-quality carbon steel with a hardness of 45 HRC. Sharpened!
Saya (Sword sheath):
Made of wood, painted black.
Blue Sageo (ribbon).
Tsuba:
Shows Shingen with fans and armor.
