The Blade:
Hand forged from high quality 1045 carbon steel. Hardened with a hardness of 45 HRC.
The blade is sharpened!

Tsuka (the handle):
Made of solid wood, for optimal stability and durability. Handle inlays made of real ray skin (no cheap fake ray skin!). With cotton grip tape, wrapped in the traditional way. 2 wooden pins for 100% hold of the blade in the handle. Top optics thanks to 2 decorative elements.

Saya (sword scabbard):
Made of wood with a sago (ribbon) in the popular Uragawari style. Koiguchi, Kojiri and Kurigata made from buffalo horn.

Tsuba (guard plate):
The tsuba has the legendary Musashi design with a double ring.

Kashira (fitting at the end of the handle) and Fuchi (metal frame in front of the tsuba) are also worked out in detail on this katana.
